Scott Miller grew up playing elite level hockey in Winnipeg and has coached grassroots level hockey in the Seven Oaks Community. As a result of his athletic experiences growing up, he was exposed to athletic therapy and found it to be a natural fit as it combined his love of sport with his desire to help people with their injuries. Scott’s treatment philosophy is a mixture of manual therapy and reconditioning with the sole purpose of getting people back to doing what they love.

Athletic therapy is not just for athletes; Scott has experience treating MPI and WCB clients as well. Scott graduated from the University of Winnipeg in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology. He wrote the National Strength and Conditioning Coach exam and certified as a Certified Strength Coach in 2006. He then continued to certify as an Athletic Therapist and passed the national athletic therapy exam in 2007.

Scott has been in private practice for 15 years and has had the opportunity to have trained and treated some of Winnipeg’s top WHL, NHL, and Olympic athletes. He enjoys implementing manual therapy into his treatments and decided to certify in Acupuncture in 2010 to add another modality into his treatment toolbox. Scott is married with 2 kids; his son is an elite level hockey player and his daughter is a competitive gymnast. Scott and his family enjoy spending time outdoors at the cabin, bike riding, quadding and dirt biking, golfing, and fishing.
